In light of Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele’s recent remarks about disinformation in the media, as well as El Salvador‘s approval of the Digital Assets Issuance Law and its mission statement on economic development from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), The Salvadorian ambassador recently proposed a course of action. According to IMF records, El Savor has strategically been able to dodge potential risks associated with cryptocurrencies due to their slow adoption. This proposal is likely meant to ensure that this trend continues for years to come.
